Or ask to see copies of the letters they have been writing - then kindly suggest ways the letters could be improved. The goal is to keep them busy and off your back. See if you can get them to add a further 1000 words to their letters. Get them to write them out by hand, then suggest improvements in their handwriting, grammar and spelling.

Anyone have your local cong. give out papers to say what you can afford to give the cult?

back in the late 80s i can remember my local cong.

pass around a paper that had a place for head of house hold name and how much they can afford to give every month for one year.

but i remember the elders said they needed to know what they can bank on to know what they can afford to borrow to remodel ect.

We were asked to pledge in UK - it was well before 2014 - maybe 2009. The elder who handed me my form looked embarrassed. He hated doing it. I did not hold out my hand to take the form and he quietly put it back in his jacket pocket or wherever he had produced it from.

Many congregation members feather spat over this.

However this was to be followed by happier times when they were invited to write personal letters to Mr Putin. The intense pleasure they got sending letters to Russia meant that the cost of postage was a mere peppercorn to them. Multiple letters were sent by poor people who became even poorer. Doubtless the charity shops saw a dip in their takings during this time.

They (GB) use people (cong members) who do not realise they have been deceived to deceive others. Now that's a real master of deception at work.

When found out they say 'it wasn't us, all these people (zealous mushrooms) have been personally persuaded of the truth in the Bible which we have taught (hem hem). It's the Bible that's wrong, not us. We just fumbled along as best we could and these zealots did the damage to others by telling them it was the truth. Get Vaccinated or Get laid Off

i’m personally for the vaccine, took two shots and would take a third if asked.

but i know a friend of mine that doesn’t want to take the vaccine who works for the government and now is faced with this choice: get vaccinated or get laid off.

i don’t agree with this measure as it is totalitarian and runs against my core belief in individual freedom.. now, with that being said, what i don’t understand is that my friend still won’t get vaccinated.

If UK - use the website called jobserve - I suggest she sets the type of job she is looking for to 'contract'.

If in UK and you work under a contract you might need to either go with an umbrella company or set up as your own limited company.

As a contract worker you can be sacked on the spot. But if you do a good job they come running after you for more. No need to cry. Just be brave and go solo and deal with your finances etc methodically. You may have to travel but you can negotiate to work from home or just go into the office when needed. You'll make a lot of money for the HR firm and a bundle for yourself. She'll be as employed as the rugby ball in a scrum.

Do you know the reason most people don't do this? They have mortgages. Top tip. Don't take a mortage unless you have to. I have watched people use this method and quickly get the money to cover the cost of their houses. So they buy the house outright, then only work 6 months in the year if that. If you are a couple and have a mortgage - see if one of you can go as a contractor. Advice - be supportive and loving towards one another. In the end your loving kindness, warm encouragement and gentleness will be key to making this work.

There's always a way out.

(1 Corinthians 10:13) . . .No temptation has taken you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for you to be able to endure . . .

PS - Contract workers are preferred by employers because in the end... they are cheaper. The employer can stop and start their services with no obligation on their part.
PPS - if you get this working for you buy a caravan and move it round the country, it'll save hotel bills and give you portable holiday home.
